Here we go again, another Alien. How are we feeling about this? We have been burned before with Alien sequels (Prometheus and Covenant anyone) For diehard fans another addition to the alien storyline is never a truly a bad thing. With Romulus now the seventh film, being set between Alien and Aliens we can hope for good things to improve on a few bad aliens.
Recently at CinemaCon an extended presentation was shown. Teasing a bunch of face huggers overwhelming a ship. A bit of a departure is that the effects are relying less on CGI and using practical effects. After first being due for release on Hulu we are now anticipating a theatre release on August 16th 24.
Fede Alvarez and Rodo Sayagues (Don’t Breathe 2016/2021, Texas chainsaw massacre 2022) wrote the screenplay and it is produced by Scott Free productions (Ridley & Tom Scott) and Brandywine Productions (Alien franchise)
Can we expect good things? Are you looking forward to this release?
